Since March 18, 2020, The Actors Fund has distributed more than $21 million in emergency financial assistance to more than 16,000 people in the performing arts and entertainment industry.

Your generous contribution will go to help people cover basic living expenses, such as food, essential medications, utilities and more.

~NOTICE~

Due to continuing shutdowns, quarantines, production delays, cancellations and reshedules for theatrical productions in this calendar year from the COVID 19 pandemic, resulting in a minimum of votes and participation in the nomination program, award presentation for The ShowStopper Awards will be delayed until the following calendar year, 2023. All new productions beginning in January 2022 through December 2022 will qualify for consideration. Those artists and actors nominated during this current year will be added into a special award for applicable achievement recognition in 2023.

To vote for your favorite actor, director, designer, producer, or technical specialist, simply enter the nominee's name, the show, the role or production assignment, and date of performance on the entry form below. You may enter more than one name, if desired, for other categories, but no duplications, unless that person is also qualified for another category. Candidates should include those who have acted, directed, technically designed, or otherwise shown an exemplary public performance in a play or musical from the current calendar year (2022). Winners will be selected based on a combination of evaluative assessment from theatrical critique as well as a preponderence of nominations from the general viewing audience.

Your input below, nomination and comments are very welcome and actively solicited. Thank you for participating!
